Starting Thursday, April 9, 2020 our business operations have temporarily changed due to COVID-19. Listed are our areas of operation, please read to find out how we can assist you at this time.  Sorry for any inconvenience.

 

1: PARTS:  We are sorry for any inconvenience, but we are temporarily suspending our parts sales including tires and batteries to help try to reduce the spread of COVID-19.   If you are a business that has an account with us, please contact us via email or call or text our alternate phone number and we will try to get back with you as soon as possible.  Our email address is carcountryiowa@gmail.com and the number you can reach someone is 641-417-8854.

2: SCRAP METAL: If you are a business that has one of our scrap metal roll-off boxes, please call or text our alternate number so that we can get your box exchanged.   The number is 641-417-8854.  If you are wanting to bring in scrap metal, please call the landfill before you come to make sure they are open to get your weight tickets.  We have a drop box located next to our front door.  Please write your name, phone number and mailing address on your weight ticket before dropping it in the slot.  We will use the time on your weight ticket to verify your drop off with the security cameras.  We will mail your check out the next business day.  At the present time we will not be accepting tires.  There will be someone in the building or on-sight during our business hours.  We do ask that you respect our safety and not approach anyone in the loaders when you are dropping off your scrap.  We might not have anyone here to help you unload your scrap when you pull behind the building.  Sorry for the inconvenience.  Please email us if you have any questions and we will try to get back to you right away.  Our email is carcounytyiowa@gmail.com.

 

3: SALVAGE VEHICLES:  If you are wanting to sell us a salvage vehicle, we ask that you email us if possible.  We will try to respond to your emails right away.  Our email address is carcountryiowa@gmail.com.  Email first for a quote and explanation on the process for which we will handle the purchase of salvage vehicles.  If you do not have an email account, you can call the alternate number of 641-417-8854.  We prefer contact by email if possible.
